    Anne Marie is wonderful to work with. She has a way of connecting with teens and helping them feel optimistic rather than overwhelmed by the process. While she is great at communicating with parents, she centers the teen and their unique qualities as she works to help them choose and apply to the best matches for them in terms of schools. Anne Marie made our college process enjoyable and essentially stress free. My child and I had NO arguments through the whole process. My child also was accepted to all the schools she applied to, which I believe was due in part to well targeted choices and a skillfully designed application and portfolio.

  • "Anne Marie helped him gain the confidence to express himself in his essay"

    Our son is shy and quiet so I was worried that he might not even talk during the meetings with Anne Marie. I was happy that, after some initial apprehension, he was very willing to work with her. He is more math and science oriented and he’s really not much of a writer. Meeting with Anne Marie helped him gain the confidence to express himself in his essay. He’s doing so well in his first year of college. He came out of his shell.

  • "Anne Marie was a lifesaver"

    Anne Marie was a lifesaver. Every time my son and I talked about applying to college, our conversation ended in slammed doors or shouting. He looked forward to his meetings with Anne Marie and she was great about keeping me in the loop with how their sessions went. He’s currently a sophomore in college now. I don’t think we would have gotten through this process without her help. It made life during junior and senior year a lot more peaceful!

    At the start of the college admissions process, I was nervous, overwhelmed by the uncertainty and the sheer number of tasks ahead. However, Anne Marie helped me realize that the key to success in this process is being completely open-minded. She encouraged me to embrace the journey with flexibility and trust that things would unfold in ways I couldn’t yet foresee. In the end, I’ve learned that admissions is not just about meeting deadlines—it’s about making an impression and showing how you can continue to contribute to a university’s community even in the face of uncertainty.

  • "It was a huge relief to have most of my college applications done before senior year"

    I learned a ton at the summer workshop. It was a huge relief to have most of my applications done before senior year started. That way I was actually able to have fun senior year and not be stressed out by college apps hanging over my head. Anne Marie is really nice but she also made sure we got all of our work done.  There were also good snacks.
